Adult Forum

At St. Mark’s, we believe Christian education is important throughout one’s life.  Our Adult Forum is offered as a time of fellowship and opportunity for all adults of the parish to learn more about our Christian beliefs.

St. Mark’s Adult Forum meets Sundays from 9:45am-10:30am in the Parish Hall, during the time children are attending Sunday school.   Coffee and refreshments are served as various speakers examine topics relevant to our faith.  In the past, talks have ranged from how children learn faith, to examining the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer, to honoring God’s creation using fuel cells for clean energy production.  Speakers have included non-profit representatives, such as Betsy Tyson-Smith from The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, as well as several of our own parishioners and clergy.

Because of the All-Parish Coffee Hour, Adult Forum is not held on the last Sunday of the month.
