Bible Study Groups

At St. Mark’s, we believe it is our job as Christians to know Christ and to live out his will for us in our lives.  This can be difficult if we don’t know what Christ taught, how he lived or who he is.

St. Mark’s Bible Study classes offer a way to come to know our Lord more fully, and to thereby serve him more effectively.  Classes are held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday mornings from 10-11am and on Sunday evenings. All are welcome to attend.

The Tuesday morning Bible Study class is led by Father Ken Wolfe, who provides both an historical context and a modern day perspective to the bible verse being discussed.  The Sunday evening Bible Study group is run by the participants and uses various study guides and methods to direct individual reflection on the bible verse prior to class as well as group discussion during the meetings.   Both classes are informal and discussion-based.
