Ongoing Lenten Programs
Walk the Way of the Cross on Sundays
Join us at 7pm on Sundays throughout Lent 2018 as we walk the way of the cross. We’ll gather in the main church of St. Mark’s for this 30-minute devotional practice.
Those gathered will walk to each of the 14 stations that depict the way of Jesus as he goes from being condemned to death to having his body placed in the tomb. Prayers and reflections are read at each station. This Lenten practice began in the Middle Ages as a way to prepare for Holy Week and Easter.
Dates: February 18, 25 & March 4, 11, 18, 25
Deep Dive into the Exploration of our Faith on Wednesdays
During Lent and into Easter, our rector, Phil LaBelle, will lead a small group to explore what it takes to experience a more mature faith. Sharing readings, reflection and our own understanding of faith, this group will dive deep into the interaction of faith and life. Gatherings will be held on Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm at the rectory beginning on Feb. 21, and can lead to adult baptism, confirmation or reception into the Episcopal Church if desired.
