Ongoing Lenten Programs

A Place at the Table—A 40-Day Journey in Lent

Lenten Adult Faith Formation: 9:45 am coffee hour

This Lent our Adult Faith Formation will look at the video series and book A Place at the Table: 40 Days of Solidarity with the Poor by Chris Seay. The focus will be on a type of fasting by eating much simpler meals during Lent to remind us of how many in our world eat. Each Sunday morning during Adult Faith Formation at 9:45 we’ll view a short video segment. Throughout the series, we’ll discuss the Lenten journey of fasting, abundance, what’s sacred in our lives, what we place our hopes in, and more. An e-book is available with reflections for every day in Lent (recommended but not required). Join Phil LaBelle as he begins this series on this Sunday.

Walk the Stations of the Cross

Wednesdays at 6:45 pm, starting March 13

Join us on Wednesday evenings, starting March 13, as we walk the Stations of the Cross in our main church building. This simple act of devotion reflects on 14 different points of Jesus’ Passion. At each stop, we’ll read a portion of scripture and say a prayer as we contemplate our Savior’s death. All are welcome.
